Jackie never believed in ghosts and curses. She was told by the local drunk that she should avoid the cemetery on the Day of the Dead. She scoffed and passed it off as just as a wives tail. The drunken man told her to beware the candle that stalks, for when the light of the candle dies so does the victim's life.
Naturally she went to the cemetery and started dancing in her sugar skull costume as a way to make her visit to Mexico all the more memorable. She felt a tug on her leg and found what looked like a vine wrapping around it.
Before she could scream it started to drag her though the cemetery. She tried to hold on to tomb stone after tomb stone but sadly they couldn't support her with more vines slithering towards her, she felt her arms pinned and pulled closer to a blinding light that eliminated the entire part of the cemetery where she was being taken against her will. The pumpkin seemed rather small at first but the closer she got to the pumpkin she realized just how monstrous it really was and with open maw several more vines slithered around her and carried her in.
She struggled and squirmed but soon felt herself against the soft inside of the beast only for more vines to continue to wrap around her. She looked around and saw a few more pulsating cocoons of woman wrapped in the monster's green tendrils. She then noticed the bright candle in the middle of the pumpkin and remembered the drunks words
"Once the light of the beast goes out for the night, so does the light of your life"
“MMMMPH!!!” another new comer to the feast screamed as the vines wrapped tightly around her mouth and slowly pinned her to the wall.
She gazed into the hazel eyes of the frightened girl and they could only wonder what cruel fate had in store for them.
so graciously volunteered to finish off our Halloween party for this year. I hope you all enjoy.
